Buffalo Chicken Wraps: These easy and delicious wraps pack crispy chicken, buffalo sauce, broccoli slaw, creamy dressing, and avocado into every bite.
Buffalo Chicken Wraps Made Easy!
After the rave reviews for my Asian Chicken Wraps (my husband called them the best wrap ever!), I knew I had to try another version—this time with some heat!
I’m obsessed with Buffalo Chicken Tenders, so I tossed them into a wrap, and the result did not disappoint! The flavors and textures are incredible.
To keep it quick and easy, I rely on store-bought shortcuts. These wraps come together in 15 minutes or less—just how wraps should be!
Ingredients
Here’s what you’ll need to make these Buffalo Chicken Wraps:
- Frozen Chicken Strips: Tyson’s® crispy chicken strips are my go-to. Bare or RealGood Chicken are also good options. Cook them in the oven or air fryer for the best texture.
- Buffalo Sauce: Use Frank’s® RedHot Wings Buffalo sauce, and make sure it’s the “buffalo” one.
- Flour Tortillas: Medium tortillas work best. The fresher they are, the better they’ll taste and the easier they’ll roll up.
- Slaw: Pre-packaged broccoli slaw makes these wraps quicker to put together. Dress it right before putting together the wraps.
- Dressing: Litehouse blue cheese dressing is my favorite store-bought option. If you don’t like blue cheese, use ranch instead.
- Avocado: Pick a ripe avocado for the best creamy texture.
- Blue Cheese (Optional): Adds extra flavor, but skip if you’re not a fan.
Quick Tip
You can usually find pre-packaged broccoli slaw in the produce section of most grocery stores. Or, you can make your own by shredding broccoli stalks with a box grater or food processor.

Variations
Switch Up Your Buffalo Chicken Wraps!
- For a nice crunch and fresh flavor, add slices of cucumber to the wraps.
- Use lettuce wraps instead of a tortilla. (Or try these Buffalo Chicken Lettuce Wraps.)
- Swap out the chicken tenders for crispy tofu.
- Toss in some bacon for a smoky flavor and crunchy texture.
- Add sliced red onions for a bit of crunch and sharpness.
- Drizzle with honey for a touch of sweetness to help balance the heat.
- Use grilled chicken or shredded rotisserie chicken instead of breaded tenders for a lighter option.
Storage
These Buffalo Chicken Wraps are best eaten right away. The slaw and chicken can get soggy after mixing with the sauce. You can make a smaller amount to avoid leftovers.
To make ahead: Prepare everything separately and store in the fridge. Cook the chicken and put the wraps together just before eating.
Quick Tips:
- Warm the tortillas before filling them to make rolling easier.
- Slice the avocado just before using to keep it fresh.
- Serve right away to keep the wraps from getting soggy.
- Add a little extra dressing on the side of the wrap to dip into!
