Six Easy Christmas Gifts with simple-to-make (or store-bought) candies put in snack-size bags with free printable bag toppers to attach!
Tips for these Christmas Printables
- Each bag has its own printable page so you won’t have to print more than what you’ll be using.
- Print the bag toppers on glossy card stock paper for best results. I recommend downloading the free printable page(s) and then uploading it to a local print store to print on high-quality nice paper.
- To make cutting and folding the printable much easier, use a good paper cutter and a scoring board.
- Zip-loc® has the nicest-looking snack-size resealable bags, but any snack-size resealable bag will work.
- Most of these gifts are best made only 1-2 days before gifting to keep the treats at optimal freshness. (Oreo truffles and any treats with marshmallows included have a short shelf life!)
- If you would like to have these printed and shipped to you, click here to shop.
- Do not print straight from the website file; make sure to first save it to your computer and then print. (If you’re still having issues, try a different browser, or feel free to drop me an email!)

"Lumps of Coal" Mint Oreo Truffles
Equipment
- Blender
- Microwave
Ingredients
- 18 Oreos
- 4 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1 bag Andes Creme De Menthe Baking Chips
Instructions
- Blend 16 Oreos (no need to separate cookie from cream) in a blender until fine crumbs form. If the mixture is too wet, add two more Oreos. Pour into bowl.
- Add softened cream cheese and mix with a hand mixer until a thick dough forms.
- Roll dough into even-sized balls.
- Microwave 1/2 cup Andes chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl for 30 seconds, stir for 30 seconds, and microwave for another 15 seconds if they aren't fully melted.
- Coat truffles in melted chocolate, shake off excess, and place on a parchment-lined sheet pan.
- Repeat with remaining chocolate. (I don't melt all the chocolate at once because it tends to harden fast!)
- Let truffles harden at room temperature before eating/placing in plastic bags.

I love these but when I go to print, they are not “long enough” to fit all the way across the top of the ziploc snack size bags. Any tips? TIA!
Hey Candy! If you’re having issues you can print them at 105% to make them a bit bigger to fit your bags 🙂
Hi! How many LUMPS OF COAL does one recipe make? Love all these cute ideas and can’t wait to make them and give them to my grandkids!!
Thank you!
Hi Cindy! It depends on the size you roll them out to be, but about 16-20 lumps of coal. Enjoy!
Can you please help me with the printables? When I click on the download link, it opens in a new webpage and I’m unable to print or save. Can you possibly email me the .jpg? Thank you!!!
Sure Amber! Just emailed you 🙂
I have only been able to download the lumps of coal. When I click the link it takes me to a blank page. I just so happened to right click and saved the picture and it saved that one but the other files take me to the blank page with a small black X in the top left corner. Suggestions on how I might be able to get the others?
Hi Aly, Have you tried a different browser?
I am also having trouble opening the printables. it just shows a blank screen. Can you email them to me?
Hey Sue! Just emailed you; enjoy!
Such cute ideas! I was wondering if you could tell me about how many truffles come out of the one batch? Thanks!
How many truffles do you typically get out of one batch?
16-20 depending on the size you roll them out 🙂
Thank you!
What type of paper did you use for printing the labels?
A glossy cardstock
I found that if I opened them with firefox they open just fine.
Glad you figured it out! 🙂
Cute ideas – only wish I could print them.
I click on the “click here” to open and save the file so I can print and it only saves in a format that is not compatible to be opened. Can they be saved as a PDF of some common format instead of a Chrome web format?
I found that if I opened them with firefox they open just fine.
The same thing happened to me when I was using Chome but it worked fine with Microsoft Edge. Hope this helps.
