This recipe is AWESOME. our friends served it at a superbowl party and i’ve been hooked ever since. It is delicious! I make one change, i cover it with foil to cook because our gas oven just runs super super hot and burns the tops which I hate. Overall this is a showstopper!
So, so glad to hear that! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment ๐
I have made these several times. I’m not a sweet bread person but Hawaiian Rolls made a dinner roll & I use those. Only change I made. These are quick, easy & very yummy. Thanks for the recipe!
Glad you’ve enjoyed! ๐
So good!!! I added the remaining topping mix to the au jus
So happy you enjoyed! Thanks Robin ๐
I made these for a work potluck and now they are requested every time. So delicious and so easy to make. Thanks you for sharing.
I’m so happy to hear this Mandy! Thank you so much for your comment! ๐
I have made this twice. The first time was too salty for us but I did not use unsalted butter. This time I used unsalted butter and it was spot on. I love using the French’s fried onions, and I omitted the season salt. My family loves this so I will definitely be making it again. Thanks for the recipe!!
Thanks so much for the comment Chandra ๐
I made these, and they are amazing!!! I put my own spin on them and added sliced onion, green pepper, and mushroons that I sauteed first. Big hit!!!
That sounds amazing! Thanks for the tip and for your comment! ๐

These are mine and my husbandโs FAVORITE! They are soooo good!
So happy to hear that!! Thanks Bree ๐
i made these and they turned out amazing! they were a big hit at the party. i served them with horseradish on the side as a dipping sauce and that really added a lot. two questions: i couldn’t find the fried onions at the store. where are they normally located? also, could you do these on a cookie sheet instead of in a baking dish? i want to make them again for my next party, but i don’t have enough baking dishes, so i was thinking i could put the hawaiian rolls on baking sheet pans instead? let me know your thoughts. thanks so much!
