I followed this recipe exactly as written and the sliders were a HUGE success at my party. I also made some ham sliders that were good but not great. The next day, I brushed the leftover ham sliders with the butter/au jus mixture and my family said the ham sliders were phenomenal. From now on, I’m using the sauce for ALL sliders (pork, chicken, ham) I make.
Yay!! So happy to hear these were a huge success ๐ Thanks so much for the comment and review Maggie!!
These French Dip Sliders are amazing. I made them for a couples’ group party at my home. They were easy and ready quickly. The men were gobbling them up as they came out from the oven. And the women loved them, too. Comments? “They were out of this world! May I have another! Please, may I take some home?!” Thanks for the great recipe…the hit of my party.
I am sooo happy to hear this!! Yay!! Thanks so much for your comment! ๐
These look so delicious! I’m planning on making them for the first time tonight, but I couldn’t find the Aus Ju packet. Could I use Lipton Recipe Secrets Beefy Onion (made using the soup directions), to replace it?
Thanks Julia! I hope you love them ๐ I’ve never actually tried that, so I can’t say for sure, but I think it would be okay (does it taste similar to au jus?). I’d recommend omitting any salt addition!
LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!!! This is an amazing recipe!!!! I reduced the amount of butter for less calories. However it didnโt matter!!!
YAY! I am soo happy you enjoyed this! Thank you for your comment Elisa! ๐

Made these for our Super Bowl party. They were a hit. I admit I was skeptical that they’d be soggy, but I was pleasantly surprised, They were not soggy at all. This recipe is definitely going into the notebook of ‘keepers’. Thanks for sharing.

The Easy French Dip Sliders were a hit! I made them as one of many appetizers for our Christmas Eve Party — I think they were the favorite. I made them again New Years Day by Request! FYI – I did leave out the Optional Seasoned Salt. I also left out the sesame seeds since I didn’t have any on hand. So Yummy!
