Easy Valentine's Day Gift ideas.

Easy Valentine’s Day Gifts Tips:

  • Each bag has its own page to print, so you only need to print what you’ll be gifting.
  • Print the bag toppers on shiny cardstock for the best quality (send the PDFs to Staples/Office Max for printing).
  • Use a sharp cutter and folding tool for easy cutting and folding.
  • I recommend Ziploc small bags, but any small bags will work.
  • Don’t print directly from the website—save the file to your computer first. If you have problems, try a different browser or email me for help!

Total Time: 15 minutes
Servings: 10 Valentine’s Day bags

Ingredients

  • 9 cups rice chex cereal
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup milk or semisweet chocolate chips (I like Guittard or Ghirardelli)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1 and 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 bag (~2 cups) Valentine’s Day M&Ms

Instructions

  • Into a large bowl, measure cereal; set aside.
  • In a large microwave safe bowl, combine the peanut butter, chocolate chips, and butter. Microwave in bursts of 15 seconds, stirring in between each burst for 15 seconds until the mixture is melted and smooth. Add in the vanilla and salt. Pour over the prepared cereal. Stir well until the cereal is evenly coated.
  • Pour the cereal mixture into a gallon sized ziplock bag and pour the powdered sugar over it. Seal and shake until the cereal is evenly coated.
  • Remove into a large bowl and stir in the M&Ms. Separate into even amounts in the snack sized ziplock bags.

Can these be printed on colored cardstock without the blue background?

    1. chelseamessyapron says:

      Unfortunately not! Sorry Brandy!

  2. Laurel says:

Thank you for the great printables and tutorial! FYI- you may want to change the wording on your pdf. I had to sweet talk the manager at my local office supply store into making the copies for me, because they interpreted the copyright verbage to mean that as a business they would be infringing on the copyright by selling me the copies. Just wanted to let you know! Thanks again!

    1. chelseamessyapron says:

Thanks Laurel! And thanks for letting me know, I’ll see what I can do about the wording there!
