Turkey Bacon Avocado Sandwich

I’m hooked on this sandwich from a local bakery and cafe. I grab it way too often when I’m out! So, I decided to whip up my own version, especially with tons of leftover turkey around.

This sandwich is amazing! The flavors and textures are just right, and the sauce? It’s the absolute best! I grabbed mayo, mustard, and sour cream, mixed until it tasted just like the cafe’s, and voila — the most amazing sandwich sauce ever! Feel free to tweak the fillings to your liking, but seriously, don’t miss out on that sauce!

Ingredients used in the recipe including cheese, vegetables, meat, bacon, and mayo.

Turkey Bacon Avocado Sandwich Ingredients

  • Sourdough bread: Go for a good sturdy artisan sourdough you enjoy.
  • Provolone cheese: Mild and creamy; a great complement to the meats.
  • Bacon: Feel free to use microwave bacon for quicker prep.
  • Deli turkey: Choose fresh deli slices or use leftover Thanksgiving turkey if you’ve got some!
  • Lettuce: Fresh, crunchy leafy lettuce or Romaine.
  • Avocado: Use ripe avocado for a creamier texture; slice thinly.
  • Tomato: Juicy, ripe slices; add a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
  • Red onion: Thin slices for a peppery touch.
  • Sandwich sauce: Whisk together mayo, sour cream, and mustard for a creamy, tangy layer.

Mixing all sauce ingredients in a bowl, then spreading them onto a bread slice and adding lettuce and avocado.
