Check out my favorite Halloween Breakfast Ideas, from apple Monster Mouths and spooky ghost donuts to Frankenstein kiwis and two-ingredient orange pumpkins. It’s a Halloween breakfast feast!
Frankenstein Kiwi: Slice off one end of the kiwi so it can sit flat. Starting at the cut end, use a vegetable peeler to remove part of the fuzzy skin. Towards the top third, peel away the skin in jagged pieces to look like Frankenstein's messy hair. Push the pretzel stick through the kiwi to resemble neck bolts. Insert two chocolate chips for eyes. Use the black food gel to draw the mouth.
Apple Monster Mouth: Core and slice the apple. Soak apple slices in salted water for 5 minutes to prevent browning. Rinse with cold water and pat dry. Spread peanut butter on one side of two apple slices, then press them together. If needed, use toothpicks to help them stick. Optionally, insert a strawberry slice for the tongue. Embed sunflower seeds or pepitas in the peanut butter to resemble teeth. Attach candy eyeballs with peanut butter.
Monter Donuts: Spread a small amount of peanut butter on the back of candy eyeballs. Attach the eyes onto powdered donuts.
Cauldrons: Fill plastic cauldrons with grapes for a simple, spooky treat.
Halloween Waffles or Pancakes: Prepare waffle batter recipe, or use packaged batter. Cook the batter in Halloween-themed waffle makers. Serve warm with your favorite syrup and berries/toppings!
Banana Ghosts: Peel bananas and cut them in half. Press mini chocolate chips gently into the banana flesh to create eyes.
Mini Pumpkins: Take peeled clementine oranges and place a small piece of celery at the top to serve as the pumpkin's stalk.
